Job Description

The Manager, Billing CDAI Division acquires and maintains knowledge of business functions, implements pricing changes in the billing database, analyzes pricing problems, works with internal and external customers to improve billing functionality, and assists internal and external customers regarding any pricing and billing issues. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing controls, policies and procedures as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets and systems. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department with many competing priorities.


• Uphold and maintain CIOX Health’s standard of quality and excellence
• Review contracts for proper system setup or manual process requirements and communicate and validate with the team
• Coordinate new customer setup in Lawson via web-based platform and decipher location contracts
• Manage pricing information for new and amended contracts, locations and customers. Assist with any challenges to invoices presented by the customer
• Manage manual billing to add quality checks into the process
• Ensure timely billing to meet month end close and accrual process
• Participate in sales calls to understand contracts coming down the pipeline and offer input
• Work with other departments to identify non-standard contracts for revenue recognition changes
• Assist internal customers with pricing questions and/or problems
• Control information entered by reviewing current contracts with sales and customers
• Communicate with management regarding creative pricing and billing concepts and objectives that may benefit the company
• Perform other tasks and duties as necessary to assist management team, enhance the position of the company, and to improve overall quality of the company’s services


• 7-10 years billing experience
• Contract review experience
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in billing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Lawson
• Must be very organized and be capable and willing to multi-task
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work with others and be extremely team oriented
• Ability to sustain continuous pressure, withstand conflicting requirements
• Strong time management skills
• Strong listening skills
• Ability to comprehend complex instructions
• Must be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, imagination and patience

• College degree or equivalent work experience
