Job Description

The Retrieval Specialist 2 is responsible for communication and aiding in record retrieval for the Healthcare Risk Adjustment unit. This position requires a fast-paced individual with multitasking skills.

Duties and responsibilities

Contacting healthcare facilities across the country via the telephone.

Setting on-site appointments for scan technicians to copy paper or electronic medical records.

Complying with HIPAA ensuring the right to privacy for patients records.

Requesting the facility to provide copies by mail or fax for auditing under Federal Government Rules and Regulations.

Logging all call transactions into the designated computer software system.

Adhering to the Companys Code of Conduct and business standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

At least 3 years experience minimum in a call center environment

Strong communication skills

Strong typing and computer skills

Ability to Provide Information Accurately

Possess excellent judgment, patience and diplomacy
