Job Description



Job purpose


The Retrieval Specialist 3 is responsible for communication and aiding in record retrieval for the Healthcare Risk Adjustment unit. This position requires a fast-paced individual with multitasking skills.



Duties and responsibilities


  • Contacting healthcare facilities across the country via the telephone.
  • Setting on-site appointments for scan technicians to copy paper or electronic medical records.
  • Complying with HIPAA ensuring the right to privacy for patients records.
  • Requesting the facility to provide copies by mail or fax for auditing under Federal Government Rules and Regulations.
  • Logging all call transactions into the designated computer software system.
  • Adhering to the Companys Code of Conduct and business standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications


  • At least 3 years experience minimum in a call center environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • Ability to Provide Information Accurately
  • Possess excellent judgment, patience and diplomacy
