Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator manages data integrity from the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HR Administrator will follow standard procedures to maintain the quality and consistency of HRIS database information. The position will also make recommendations for, and implement data system improvements.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Perform diverse range of basic to more complex administrative and operational work activities on a daily basis in support of various HR processes.
  • Process high volume of employee data changes into HRIS system (New Hire, Transfers, Promotions, Conversions and Terminations) within established deadlines.
  • Ensure proper approvals and workflow of employee transactions have been followed.
  • Ensure that data integrity is maintained.
  • Provide support and/or troubleshoot data issues.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement process improvements and innovative solutions for data administration initiatives.
  • Scanning and indexing of various documents into the associates personnel files. May assist with various record scanning projects as requested.
  • Follow-up, as necessary, with internal key stakeholders (Recruitment, HR Business Partner, etc) on transactions that deviate from standard procedure.
  • Respond to all inquiries to dedicated e-mail and voicemail box to address or escalate as appropriate.
  • Scan all incoming HR mail to the organization to address or escalate as appropriate.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 4 years in a customer oriented business environment or Associates Degree (Business or HR) with 2 years in a customer oriented business environment or Bachelors Degree (Business or HR) with HR intern or 1 year of professional work experience
  • Prior experience in Human Resources is highly preferred
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems (ADP, Ultipro) is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively manage change
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently with minimal supervision and use sound judgment.
